Becoming Machinic creates business process automation solutions for legacy IT environments on premise and in the cloud for small to midsize businesses.
SMBs with 10+ years of IT infrastructure investment struggle to find off-the-shelf solutions that work with their existing solutions. Custom software is too expensive, as are the solutions from IBM/Oracle/SAP.
We provide solutions that integrate with the systems SMBs already have, with minimal custom development or maintenance, and at an affordable price point, enabled by our reusable infrastructure.
Our platform is not limited to specific industries or technology ecosystems, but we have focused our sales efforts on two subsets where we have uncommon strength: the IBM i user base, and SMB manufacturing.
Projects involve a paid discovery and services project, resulting in the deliverable of a “machine” that is hosted on-premise using our Nomad virtual appliance, or in the cloud at machinic.io, which is billed as a monthly or annual SaaS subscription.
We directly sell B2B, but are increasingly working through reseller channels and with partner organizations, such as AODocs.
The company is led by its co-founders, CEO Jordan Peacock and CTO Caleb Shingledecker. They are based in the Twin Cities.
