Client was on a deprecated version of Datacap, and needed their accounts payable process migrated to a platform with vendor support.

Solution

Migrated accounts payable from the deprecated Datacap 7 to IBM Datacap 9.

Process

We implemented a client’s accounts payable business forms processing infrastructure migrating off of Datacap 7. This involved automated classification of scanned docs, then auto-extraction of OCR text from documents to specific metadata fields based on the classification, and then applying business logic to that content. Our automated business logic would, for example, read line items and then check that the quantities multiplied by the prices equal the line time totals, and numerous other similar types of verifications.
